Profile Summary

I am an Integrated BS–MS Physics student at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee with experience in computational detector physics, scientific software development, gamma-ray spectroscopy, and Geant4-based Monte Carlo simulations.

My current work develops angle-resolved annihilation-photon correlation factors for coincidence-summing corrections in high-efficiency NaI(Tl) detectors. I am first and corresponding author of an annular-detector paper submitted to DAE SNP 2026 on 8 September 2026 and developer of its public reproducibility package; a separate soccer-ball detector study and journal paper are the next stage.

Research Focus

My research interests include:

Key Research Output

I am first and corresponding author of a conference paper submitted to the DAE Symposium on Nuclear Physics 2026 on 8 September 2026:

Angle-resolved annihilation-photon correlation factors for an annular NaI(Tl) detector

Its public reproducibility package is the Angular Factors Calculator.

My master’s thesis is titled:

A Python-Assisted Geant4 Workflow for Automated Scintillation Detector Response Simulations

This work also forms the basis of my first-author conference paper accepted for poster presentation at IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium 2026:

A Python-based Tool for Automated Geant4 Simulations of Scintillation Detectors
